Calling all Hove Park Colts players - would you like to get involved with our brilliant Name our Mascot Competition? We're searching for the most creative and original name for our brand new mascot, illustrated by the amazing Sean Sims!

Will your name be related to Hove Park, football, or perhaps something unique that will win over the judging panel? Fire up your imagination and think of the most fantastic horse name you can.

Then ask a family member (age 18+) to leave the name as a comment on our competition post - please also include your own first name and the HPC team you play for. eg. LIGHTNING - Betty, Under 9 Girls

One name suggestion per player please (but an adult can leave multiple comments on behalf of different players!)

The winning entry will be judged by Sean and the Hove Park Colts committee - and the name will be announced at our HPC50 Golden Jubilee event on 6th July. They'll also score a super cool prize - a framed print of the mascot signed by the illustrator, plus a £25 Decathlon gift card! Two runners up will also win a £10 gift card.

Terms & Conditions:

Entrants must be a current player for Hove Park Colts, or confirmed to be joining next season (U6s currently training are also eligible)
Entries must be made by an adult, who should leave a comment either on the Hove Park Colts Instagram or Facebook post with their suggested name for the mascot, along with the first name of the player and their HPC team.
Only one entry per player (adults can submit multiple names on behalf of multiple children)
The top prize winner will receive a signed and framed print of the Hove Park Colts Mascot, with their winning name, plus a £25 Decathlon voucher
Two runners up will receive a £10 Decathlon voucher
Closing date for entries is 6pm BST on 30 June 2024.
Entries will be judged on originality, creativity and relevance to Hove Park Colts Football Club by illustrator Sean Sims and members of the HPC Committee.
The winner and runners up will be announced at the HPC50 Event on Saturday 6th July. If the prize-winners are not at the event, we will arrange to deliver the prizes.
